Marco De Rossi, the 18 year-old of San Marino Tennis Academy has today written a very important page of  history of San Marino conquering Egypt, in Sharm El Sheik, the first point of a San Marino ATP tennis player in the individual ranking. After passing the qualifiers, thanks to victories on the South African Van Wyk and the Italian Lago (both already in the world ranking), De Rossi has exceeded even this morning the first round of the main draw of the tournament Futures F3 event with prizes $ 10,000 (hard), beating with a score of 6-1 1-6 6-1 the Indian Vinayak Sharma Kaza (#723 ATP). Thursday, not to stop dreaming, De Rossi will challenge in the second round the winner of the match between Spaniard Ortega-Olmedo and the athlete Taipei, Hung.
Before the joy of Marco De Rossi men's tennis he had celebrated only once an ATP point, but it was the doubles rankings, in 2008 Domenico Vicini had indeed won a point in doubles (going through a shift in tandem with Stefano Galvani). In the women the joy of access to the international ranking was arrived thanks to victories by Francesca Guardigli.
